[NEWS] Shinhye Super Star

Repost from PSH International Fanclub

On May 2nd, Shin Hye, Yong Hwa, and the whole of “Heartstrings” cast met for their script reading. On this particular day, Shin Hye was photographed wearing a salmon color shirt with her new haircut. But on that day, she also wore something special.

DRUM ROLLS PLEASE........................

Behold! The STAR necklace we bought from Tiffany & Co!!!!

Upon close, very very close inspection, the pendant on the chain turns out to be a star, the exact star we gave her for her 22nd birthday!!

Are you spazzing? We're spazzing! This is amazing! It's so wonderful to see Shin Hye wearing our gifts. Doesn't it make you feel giddy and happy inside and make you want to jump on tables, dance out in the rain, or scream until your throat is raw? It's an amazing feeling! Thank you Shin Hye for wearing our necklace. You sure know how to make us happy Star Angels.

We couldn't have done all of this without everyone's help. So again, we would like to take this moment to thank everyone who donated to the birthday project. With all your help we were able to buy many wonderful presents including this beautiful necklace she wore. So thank you so much again!

There will be many more projects to come. It doesn't stop here. We have many more days, months, years to bring happiness to Shin Hye's life and to ours.

If you have missed this last donation project, we are currently holding another donation, our "Heartstrings" fan project. We will be buying her summer accessories and bringing summer to her since she will be busy filming her drama, just like how we brought Christmas to her in Huis Ten Bosch. We can only make this happen with your help. So please, help us bring Summer to our lovely Shin Hye. We want to thank you in advance for your generosity and kind support. Thank you.

Repost from PSH International FC

Park Shin Hye and Jung Yonghwa enjoy the spring sunshine on set of Heartstrings.

Today a production still from MBC’s new drama ‘Heartstrings’ (screenplay by Lee Myung Sook, director: Pyo Min-soo) is released. The photo shows Jung Yonghwa (Lee Shin) and Park Shin Hye (Lee Kyu Won) at a campus setting on the 16th of May.

Staff from JSPictures, the production company, said “When filming first started Shin Hye and Yonghwa behaved awkwardly towards each other, but they clicked very fast and now they bond really well with the cast and crew on and off set. A warm and friendly atmosphere is always formed when they’re around. The drama is receiving interest from Korean and international fans and we are glad about it. Please look forward to their 2nd costar-ship. ”

[DRAMA] "넌 내게 반했어" official English name is HEARTSTRINGS

Repost from PSH International Fanclub

It is announced today by Shin Hye's entertainment agency, 4him Entertainment, that the official English name for MBC drama "넌 내게 반했어" is HEARTSTRINGS.

"The title is the like the chords of Kyu-won's (Shin Hye's character) "heart piano"(心琴), which can tug onto our heartstrings. " the agency explained.

Before the name was announced, there were a lot of speculations about the English name, and most of the fansites and news sites used the transliterated names "You've Fallen For Me" and "You're Into Me".

Also, the 1st drama filming, which was scheduled on May 10(tomorrow) is cancelled due to bad weather conditions in Seoul. The pig's head ceremony for the drama is also cancelled.

Despite the bad weather, the cast is in good spirits and is looking forward to the drama's filming. Heartstrings will air its first episode on June 29 as a Wed/Thurs drama. The 1st script reading was held last week.

[NEWS] "넌 내게 반했어 You're Into Me" cancels filming in Japan + Important Info

Repost from PSH International Fanclub

MBC drama <넌 내게 반했어You're Into Me> starring Park Shin Hye and CNBlue's Jung Yonghwa has confirmed to cancel filming in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

The drama was set to film in Lake Hamana region for 3 weeks in May 2011, accompanied by a production press conference. However, the Japanese producers regrettably announced that the filming will not proceed as planned.

The reason being that Japan is still trying to recover from the 3.11 tsunami-quake both socially and economically, and the nuclear crisis is adding burden to the locals' shoulders. Thus, the investment for the joint drama production between Korea and Japan cannot push through despite of a on-location investors hunt last month.

Nevertheless, they wish that <넌 내게 반했어You're Into Me> will kick off with great success and gain lots of support.

We at PSHIFC hope that Japan will be able to recover from all the sad happenings going on very soon. Never give up, Japan! You have our love!

Also, please note a change of plans in our two fan projects for <넌 내게 반했어You're Into Me>, #1 Prayer Flag Project & #2 Summer Spree Project .

The 2 fan projects will be carried out as usual despite the cancellation of Japan filming. Instead of Japan, our staff will visit the <넌 내게 반했어You're Into Me> cast in SEOUL, Korea this summer to cheer them on! The deadlines will be extended to June 1 2011.

Fans who join our Summer Spree project will have a chance to win a copy-version of 'You're Beautiful Director's Cut' DVD! Don't hesitate and join us in giving them an unforgetatble summer now!

[NEWS] FESTIVAL Drama English Title Rewrite

Rewrite the English title for You’ve Fallen For Me
by girlfriday | April 23, 2011

Source:Dramabeans

Speak now or forever hold your peace! Here’s your chance to name the drama that has already undergone one name change, from Festival to You’ve Fallen For Me [넌 내게 반했어], which is now the Korean title of the drama.

But apparently one title is not enough, since the production company has decided to hold a second title contest, for a separate English title. And YOU get to do it! I know there are some very talented people ’round these parts, from the myriad of hilarious titles some of you threw out when Maids was being renamed.

You’ve Fallen For Me / Festival / Whatchoo Wanna Callit stars Jung Yong Hwa as a bad boy rocker with his band The Stupid, and Park Shin-hye as a classical musician training in traditional Korean instruments (think gayageum, the stringed instrument people play sitting down, wearing hanboks). One day, the girl who knows nothing of contemporary music gets dragged to a concert where she sees The Stupid rockin’ out, and the rest, as they say, is history. Song Chang-eui (yay!) will co-star as the broadway-producer-turned-director who will ignite their dreams.

You can throw down your title ideas here at DramaFever, and vote.

Okay…now I have to come up with one. How ’bout… Love me Stupid? For Whom the Gayageum Tolls? Yeah…I suck at this game. [I vote Stupid In Love. Or I'm With the Band. Okay, I suck at it too. –javabeans]

The drama, whatever its title, premieres Wednesday June 29 on MBC, following Best Love, and will be available simultaneously over at DramaFever.

Let the games begin!

[PSHIFC] ""넌 내게 반했어" You're Into Me/You Fell In Love With Me" Fan Project

Repost from PSH International FC

ANJELL FM Project
~ ANSHOW Project
~ Huis Ten Bosch Project
~ Birthday Project
~ Japan Disaster Donation
~ “You’re into Me” Project

Wait..........
We haven’t done the last one yet!

Calling all STAR ANGELS and BOICE!!! PSHIFC is bringing you another project. And you guess right. This one is for Shin Hye and Yong Hwa's new drama, "You're Into Me". Since the drama will be coming to Japan this May-June, some of our admins will be going to the set again like we did for Shin Hye's drama “Sensation World” (Hayate the Combat Butler) when they came to Huis Ten Bosch last December.

Now this project is slightly different from the previous ones. This time Star Angels and Boice will be sending us a PRAYER FLAG. Yep, a prayer flag with your message to Shin Hye and/or Yonghwa, giving them courage and support as they films their drama.

You can also include, on your cloth, a message for Japan and all the Japanese victims.

The direction is simple.
1. Find a piece of COLORFUL (no black or white plain) cloth/textile the size of 5in x 4in (or 12 cm x 10cm)
2. Leave about half an inch (1.5cm) at the top for the clip
3. Write/draw/stitch your message on the rest of the cloth
4. Colour or pattern of cloth: ANY
5. If you wish to address both Shin Hye & Yonghwa, please make SEPARATE prayer flags for Shin Hye and Yonghwa. It's ok if you'd like to make just one for Shin Hye, vice versa.

Be sure that your message is clear and dark so that she can read it. If you have a patterned cloth, write your message on a separate piece of paper and glue it on the cloth or write it really dark so it can be read. You may also stitch your message onto the cloth and decorate it beautifully however you wish.

Send your prayer flag to:
Mee Xiong

Hanamigawa-ku, Makuhari-cho

DEADLINE: 2011 May 22nd

Updated from ANJELLHaven:

Park Shinhye has been casted as the female lead in MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama, “Festival’ (Directed by Pyo Min-Su, Written by Lee Myung-Sook, Produced by JS Pictures) scheduled to begin brodcasting in June.

“Festival” is a melodrama set against a background of a university of the arts and will be about students achieving their dreams through sweat and tears, and their sweet love and teenage romance. It has garnered attention for being Pyo Min-Soo PD’s new drama, who also directed “Full House” and “The World They Live In”.

Also, her co-star in 2009′s SBS “You’re Beautiful”, Jung Yonghwa, has also been casted, bringing fresh speculation over their second meeting.

Park Shinhye will play a fresh and cute “bright girl” character who is a “gayageum genius” [TRANS NOTE: GAYAGEUM IS A TRADITIONAL KOREAN INSTRUMENT.] and will display her virtues of teenage lovability. Also, she will go against Jung Yonghwa’s “cold city man” and “guitar genius” character, and will add even more excitement by unfolding a cute back-and-forth relationship with a touch of sweet romance.

Updated from allkpopnews:

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and actress Park Shin Hye have been cast as the leading roles for MBC’s upcoming drama, “Festival“!

There were some rumors that the two were going to pair up again for a new drama, but at the time, nothing was confirmed. Yonghwa and Shin Hye had previously worked together for SBS’s hit 2009, “You’re Handsome“.

“Festival” is already gaining much anticipation from the drama industry because of PD Pyo Min Soo’s involvement. Pyo Min Soo is most famous for his work with “Full House” and “The World They Live In.”

The drama will be taking place at an arts college which focuses on dancing, singing, acting, and literature, and is classified as a ‘mellow campus drama’, detailing the lives of college students.

Jung Yonghwa will be playing the role of the cold, yet handsome band vocalist named ‘Lee Shin’, who’s known to carry a strong passion for music. Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye will be playing the role of ‘Lee Kyu Won’, a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family, and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments.

The drama will air its pilot episode on June 22nd.
