잔잔한 1위 ‘시라노’, 200만 고지 눈앞

영화 ‘시라노; 연애조작단’이 박스오피스 1위를 고수하며 200만명을 향해 가고 있다.
5일 오전 영화진흥위원회 영화관입장권통합전산망에 따르면 ‘시라노; 연애조작단’(이하 시라노)는 지난 4일 하루 동안 전국 383개 스크린에서 3만3,480명을 모아 누적관객 182만2,672명으로 박스오피스 1위에 등극했다.
‘시라노’는 9월30일 개봉한 ‘먹고 기도하고 사랑하라’(이하 먹기사)에게 당일 하루 박스오피스 1위를 내줬으나 다음날인 10월1일 1위를 되찾아왔다.
이어 ‘방가?방가!’가 3위 ‘무적자’가 4위, ‘해결사’가 5위에 올랐다.
지난 9월16일 개봉해 추석 시즌부터 박스오피스 1위를 지켜온 ‘시라노’는 꾸준히 관객을 동원하며 200만명 돌파를 향해 달리고 있다.
한편 ‘시라노’는 영화 촬영장을 방불케 하는 조직적인 움직임으로, 때로는 비밀 작전 수행처럼 완벽하게 짜인 각본으로 의뢰인의 사랑을 이루게 하는 연애 에이전시 ‘시라노 에이전시’를 배경으로 하는 연애 프로젝트를 그린다. 엄태웅 최다니엘 이민정 박신혜가 출연했다.

Korean romantic comedy “Cyrano Agency,” starring Park Shin-hye and Uhm Tae-woong, topped the Korean box office for the second consecutive week.
For the weekend of October 1 to 3, “Cyrano Agency” stayed at the No. 1 spot of the chart with 280,592 viewers, according to estimates released by Korean Box Office Information System (KOBIS) on Monday.
The picture has attracted close to a total 1.8 million moviegoers since opening in theaters on September 16.
Julia Roberts starrer “Eat Pray Love” bowed into the local box office in second place with 184,320 admissions and Korean comedy tentatively titled “Banga? Banga!” rounded out the top three slots, selling 173,610 tickets over the weekend.
Korean action pic “The Invincibles” stepped down two spots from the previous week to fourth place with 97,595 admits and animated film “Despicable Me” fell two ranks as well to No. 5 with 83,368 tickets sold.
Other movies in the top 10 included “Resident Evil: Afterlife,” “The Man From Nowhere,” “The Borrowers” and “King of Quiz.”
