문근영 소속사 관계자는 머니투데이 스타뉴스에 "문근영이 출연중인 뮤지컬 '클로져'가 오는 10월 10일 끝이 난다"면서 "'메리는 외박중'에 출연할 경우, 드라마 녹화일과 뮤지컬 공연 기간이 겹칠 수 있다. 스케줄상의 문제로 드라마 출연에 대해 결정을 하지 못하고 있다"고 설명했다.
이어 "문근영이 '메리는 외박중'외에도 다른 작품에서 출연 요청을 받은 상태이며, 현재 신중하게 차기작을 검토하고 있다"고 덧붙였다.
'메리는 외박중'은 오는 11월 초 첫 방송될 예정. 늦어도 10월 내 첫 촬영에 돌입해야한다.
이 드라마는 '풀하우스' 원작 만화가인 인기 만화가 원수연의 작품으로, 드라마화가 결정되면서 방송가 안팎에 관심을 모으고 있는 작품이다.
