‘시라노’ 3주연속 주말 1위 롱런흥행..외화대작들 꺾다

영화 ‘시라노; 연애조작단’이 3주 연속 주말 박스오피스 1위를 유지했다.
11일 오전 영화진흥위원회 영화관입장권통합전산망에 따르면 ‘시라노; 연애조작단’(이하 시라노)는 8~10일 사흘간 24만4,757명을 모아 누적관객 216만9,164명으로 3주 연속 주말 박스오피스 1위를 차지했다.
‘시라노’는 지난 9월30일 개봉한 ‘먹고 기도하고 사랑하라’(이하 먹기사)에게 당일 하루 박스오피스 1위를 내줬으나 다음날인 1일 1위를 되찾아와 줄곧 1위를 지켜왔다.
9월16일 개봉해 추석 시즌부터 박스오피스 1위를 점령한 ‘시라노’는 꾸준히 관객을 동원하며 지난 10일 이미 200만명을 돌파했다. 총 40억원의 제작비로 만들어진 ‘시라노’는 이미 개봉 11일 만인 9월26일 손익분기점 130만명(순 제작비 22억원, P&A비౪***억원 등)을 넘어섰다.
한편 같은 기간 ‘적인걸: 측천무후의 비밀’이 19만387명으로 2위, ‘방가?방가!’가 18만4,658명으로 3위, ‘레터스 투 줄리엣’이 13만6,902명으로 4위, ‘먹고 기도하고 사랑하라’가 8만555명으로 5위에 올랐다.
‘시라노’는 영화 촬영장을 방불케 하는 조직적인 움직임으로, 때로는 비밀 작전 수행처럼 완벽하게 짜인 각본으로 의뢰인의 사랑을 이루게 하는 연애 에이전시 ‘시라노 에이전시’를 배경으로 하는 연애 프로젝트를 그린다. 로맨틱 코미디에 일가견이 있는 ‘광식이 동생 광태’ ‘스카우트’ 김현석 감독이 메가폰을 잡고 엄태웅 최다니엘 이민정 박신혜 박철민 송새벽 등이 출연했다.

Korean romantic comedy “Cyrano Agency” has placed at the top spot on the local box office once again, taking its third consecutive win in the country.
According to the Korean Box Office System (KOBIS) on Monday, “Cyrano Agency,” starring Uhm Tae-woong and Park Shin-hye, was the most-watched movie in the country, attracting 244,757 moviegoers during the weekend of October 8 to 10 to rake in over a total two million admits since opening in theaters on September 16.
“Cyrano Agency,” helmed by director Kim Hyun-seok, is about two love agents (Uhm and Park) who help their client (Choi Daniel) win over the girl of his dream (Lee Min-jung).
New release “Detective Dee,” starring Chinese actors Andy Lau and Carina Lau, bowed into second place in the local box office, selling 190,387 tickets and Korean comedy tentatively titled “Banga? Banga!” held on the No. 3 spot with 184,658 admits.
Hollywood romantic comedies “Letters To Juliet” and “Eat Pray Love” ranked in fourth and fifth place, respectively, with 136,902 and 80,555 tickets sold.
Other films on the top 10 included “Despicable Me,” “The Invincibles,” “The Man From Nowhere,” “Trapped” and “Resident Evil: Afterlife.”
