Meanwhile, the original soundtracks to popular TV series overtook last week’s Gaon’s album chart.
First on the chart was “SungKyunKwan Scandal Soundtrack” from the KBS historical series of the same name, whose tracks include “Found You,” by three-member male group JYJ, “Too Love” by Junsu and “Sad To Say” by Urbaniq.
The songs in second and third place were both from SBS’ series “He’s Beautiful” aired in 2009: “He’s Beautiful Soundtrack Pt.2” and “He’s Beautiful Soundtrack.” (complete version), respectively.
The drama which was aired in 2009, starring Jang Keun-suk, Park Shin-ye, Jung Yong-hwa and Lee Hong-ki, is about a girl disguised as her twin brother to join a boy band. The show was a big hit at the time, receiving favorable reviews both at home and overseas.
